Diana May VanSlembrouck, formerly Diana May Walters, age 66 of Buckley, Michigan went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 after a four and a half year battle with ovarian cancer. Born to Richard and Sara Walters on September 10, 1958, she lived in Sturgis, Michigan until the family moved to Buckley when she was a teenager.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard and her mother, Sara, as well as her father-in-law Allen VanSlembrouck. Surviving by her loving husband, Todd, her step-mother, Cathy, step-father, Gale, brothers Kirby (Lee) and their son Neil, Clayton (Ruby) and their children Shawna and James, Kevin (Lynette) and their children Zack, Matt and Logan and Ray (Kim) Crites and their children Trevor and Tyler, son James (Brittany )Moen, grandson Sam, daughter Rebecca (Andy) Russell, granddaughter Sarah and grandson David, daughter Brooke(Jason) Payberg and grandchildren Tyler Storms, and Korey, Skye, Amanda, Gauge, Kirsi Payberg.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Living Hope Church at 3050 South Airport Road, Traverse City, MI 49684 with visitation at 10 am and service at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, Diana has requested donations to St. Jude's Hospital and Compassion International.
