Dianne Louise Elliott, 83, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully at home on June 2, 2024, with family by her side. Dianne was born on May 15, 1941, in Royal Oak, Michigan, to Leonard and Louise Whiteford. It was at a young age that she discovered her talent for bringing joy to others and sharing her love with those around her.

Dianne was known for her good sense of humor, genuine personality, kind spirit, and loving heart that many cherished over the years. She married the love of her life, Jerry Lee Elliott, and they shared 60 wonderful years together, filled with laughter, travel, and raising their three beloved children; Sherry, Douglas and Lynne.

One of Dianne's passions was bargain hunting. She had a keen eye for unique items and delighted in scouring yard sales and garage sales for hidden treasures. It brought her immense joy to find new items to cherish.

Above all, Dianne cherished her family, her devoted husband, her three children, and her beloved dogs, Hermie and Baby.

Dianne is survived by her children; Sherry (Michael) McAdams, Douglas (Sally) Elliott, Lynne Elliott, grandchildren Eric Elliott, Brett (Brenda) McAdams, Nikki McAdams and her partner Jordan Kik, Kayla Elliott, Madison Elliott. As well as great grand children Jakob Elliott & Emma McAdams; Her brother Terry Whiteford & fiancé Jane Arney.

Dianne is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Louise Whiteford and her loving husband Jerry.
A memorial service for Dianne will take place on Friday, June 7, 2024, at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 2 pm, with services starting at 3 pm.
