Don Richard Rokos' Obituary
Traverse City - Don Richard Rokos, 66, of Traverse City passed away August 1, 2016 at Munson Medical Center.
Don was born on October 8, 1949 in Traverse City to the late Howard and Allene (Stricker) Rokos.
On September 21, 1985 Don married Darlene Marie Robertson.
Don served his country honorably as a member of the United States Army and National Guard. He worked for the Traverse City State Hospital and also Traverse City Area Public Schools as a custodian until he retired in 2010. In his spare time he enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and gardening.
Don was preceded in death by his sister Mary Lou Kirkey and brother Gene H. Rokos.
Don is survived by his wife Darlene, son Richard, and brother John (Mary) Rokos.
The family will celebrate his life privately at a later date. In honor of Don, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cherryland Humane Society.
The family is being served by Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
