Mr. Donald Lee Findley of Grawn, Michigan, age 67, passed away peacefully in his home during the early morning hours of Sunday, December 12, 2021.
Don was born to John and Margarite (Kirby) Findley in Trenton, Michigan on July 1, 1954.
He married the love of his life, Sally Hankins on St. Valentine's Day, February 14, 1994.
Don, later joined by Sally, owned D&S Painting, Inc. of Gaylord and Round Tuit of Traverse City.
Don was a loving husband and father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, dear brother, and friend to many. He will always be remembered as a remarkable man.
Don leaves behind his daughters, Christine (Jason) Bishop, Colita (Nathan) Schafer, and Tammy (Dean) Anys; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, eight siblings, and many nieces, nephews, dear friends, and other beloved members of the family.
Don was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife of twenty-four years, Sally J. Findley; and daughter, Tracy Anys.
Relatives and friends may call on the family during a time of visitation from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
The funeral service will be celebrated by Pastor Mark McCool at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 19, 2021, at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. There will be a one-hour visitation prior to the service.
Don will be laid to rest in the Spring of 2022, in Maple Grove Cemetery, Blair Township, MI.
