Obituary

Grawn - Donald L. McQueer, 73, of Grawn passed away November 25, 2013.

Don was born on May 16, 1940 in Cedar to the late Floyd and Florence (Goddard) McQueer.

Don married Beverly Ann Manville on January 8, 1972. Together they have celebrated 41 years of marriage.

Don was the plant manager for Big Jon Inc. for thirty years. It was here that his love for fishing developed. He also enjoyed deer hunting and watching Old Westerns. Anything with John Wayne was a favorite of Don's. You could often find Don watching Fox News or playing with his Shih Tzu Guntlet who was a wonderful friend and companion.

Above all else, Don loved spending time with his family, especially during the holidays.

Don was preceded in death by his parents, sister Shirley, brothers Ike, Bud and Dave and one grandson Jeffrey.

Don is survived by his wife Beverly and their eight children, Mike, Howard (Debbie), Rich, Jeff (Laurie), Christy, Scott (Sarah), Lisa (Don), and Michele, 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren, brother Gary, and sisters Gin (Bill) Alpers and Fran Schaub

The memorial service celebrating Don's life will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at 2 pm at the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior.

Graveside services will take place in the spring at Barnum Cemetery in Mayfield.

Memorial contributions in memory of Don may be directed to a charity of your choice or your local hunting or boating safety program. Envelopes will be provided at the funeral home.
