Donna J. Gee

Donna J. Gee, 96, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2022 with her daughter Sue, Don and Dani her beloved grand dog by her side.
Donna was born on August 28, 1926 to the late Harry and Bernice Moore.
She was a long-time member at First Congregational Church and a loyal volunteer at Munson Medical Center. One of her favorite past times was as a model for Milliken's Department Store in downtown Traverse City, as she fondly put it "back in the day". For over 40 years the family owned and operated Shadowland Motel and Forest Hills Apartment in later years. Donna also treasured the time she spent each year in Florida after her retirement.
Donna is survived by her daughter Susan (Don McArthur) Gee, her daughter in law Ann Gee and several step grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband Keith, parents, sister Joan Goode, and her son Robert Gee.
Big thank you to The Porches of Gaylord for making Donna's final months the best they could be. They treated her like a "queen" and like family.
Cremation has taken place and per Donna's wishes no service will be held.
Donna and her family are being cared for by the Reynolds's Jonkoff Funeral Home.
