WILLIAMSBURG — Donna M. McDaniel, 81, of Williamsburg, died Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at Munson Medical Center.Donna was born Sept. 29, 1929, in Detroit, to the late Ralph and Laura (Brown) Moore.On Feb. 19, 1949, Donna married Thomas McDaniel in Corinth, Miss. He preceded her in death this past March.In her spare time Donna enjoyed sewing, crocheting, going to the casino, baking and spending time with her animals on the farm.Donna is survived by her son, Steven (Diane) McDaniel, of Traverse City; daughter, Lynn (Martin) Palmer, of Williamsburg; sister, Patricia (Harold) Wilson, of Detroit; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.Donna was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter-in-law, Lois; and brothers, Richard Moore and Ralph Moore Jr.A private family service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, 2011.
