Donna Belle McDougall, 84, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 18, 2016 at her home with her daughter at her side.

Donna was born on August 30, 1931 in Flint, MI to the late Thomas and Hattie (McGarry) Mills. She married Charles McDougall on June 17, 1957 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Flint.

She proudly received her teaching certificate from Eastern Michigan University and worked many years for the Michigan School for the Deaf.

In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, exercising, socializing with friends and being with her family.

She is survived by her, son, John, daughter, Martha, granddaughters Anastasia and Alexandra, a grandson John Paul, a great granddaughter AnnMarie and her sister Audrey Weber.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at 3pm at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to Munson Healthcare Regional Foundation for the Munson Dialysis Center, 1150 Medical Campus Drive, Traverse City, MI 49684 - please indicate Dialysis Center in memo line of check.
