Donna Jean Miller (née Harwick), 93, of Traverse City passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 3, 2022.

Donna was born on August 25, 1928, in Goodrich, MI to the late Raymond and Onnalee (Butcher) Harwick. She married Dean D. Miller on August 21, 1948. Together they lovingly raised two wonderful children in a household filled with laughter and love.

Donna was a devoted wife, mother and friend, and she will be sorely missed by all those who knew and loved her. She was an involved member of the First Congregational Church, The Traverse City Golf and Country Club and The Elks. She thoroughly enjoyed her time golfing, playing bridge and enjoying a good joke (usually supplied by Dean) with dear friends and neighbors in both Traverse City and Naples, FL where they spent most winters.

Donna and Dean also enjoyed traveling together and took the entire family on an Alaska adventure for their 50th wedding anniversary. They leave their family with incredible memories of many happy times.

Surviving Donna is her daughter Diane (Robert) Lowe, daughter-in-law Patricia Miller, cherished grandchildren, Ryan (Jessica) Lowe, Bradley (Erin) Lowe and four beautiful great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, her beloved husband Dean, and her loving son David.

The family would like to thank all of Donna's remarkably dedicated caregivers, neighbors and friends for their kindnesses during her final years.

The funeral service will be celebrated at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2022, in the gardens at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth Street, Traverse City, MI 49684.
