Donna Marie Rigda

Donna M Rigda of Saginaw passed away on Monday March 6, 2023, at the Grand Traverse Pavilions, Traverse City Michigan. She was 80 years of age. Donna M Taubert was born on August 6, 1942, in Bay City, Michigan to the late Donald and Marvel Taubert. She was married to Joseph J Rigda on September 26, 1964 in Saginaw, MI. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2011. She graduated from Saginaw High School in 1960. Donna was employed in the family business, Taubert Cycle Sales. She later worked in accounting at Nehls, Mitchel, Keidel & Associates and Mika Tool & Dye until her retirement. Donna's passion for music started at a young age with Elvis Presley and continued throughout her life. She enjoyed traveling and camping, especially many summers spent on Lake Leelanau and Lake Fenton. Above all, spending time with her family, especially her four granddaughters, was her greatest joy.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Teri Salgot, her son, Don (Kathryn) Rigda, four granddaughters: Sydney Salgot, Skyler Salgot, Emily Rigda and Gwen Rigda. Also surviving are two sisters: Joanne (Frank) Lukowski and Peggy (Ken) Lange as well as many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son-in-law Bryan Salgot, and her in-laws Joseph and Ann (Kolak) Rigda
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the loving staff of Grand Traverse Pavilions and ProMedica Hospice for their wonderful care of Donna.

FUNERAL- A Funeral Service honoring Donna, will take place at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Deisler Funeral Home, 2233 Hemmeter Rd, Saginaw Michigan 48603. Hank Messing will officiate. Interment will follow in St Andrew Catholic Cemetery.

VISITATION- Friends are welcome to visit with Donna's family at the Deisler Funeral Home on Thursday March 9, 2023, from 11:30 am until the time of service.
