Doris Avon Loznak, age 90, of Traverse City, Michigan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 19, 2026. She was born on May 4, 1935 in Elsie, to Lonel and Neva Bensinger.

Doris shared 69 years of marriage with her husband, Edward J. Loznak, until his passing in 2023. Together they built a life centered on family, warmth, and love.

A devoted homemaker, Doris took great pride in creating a welcoming home for her family and friends. She had a passion for cooking and entertaining, often bringing people together around her table. Gifted in music, she played both the organ and the piano for many events over the years, including numerous weddings and funerals, sharing her talent with her community.

Doris found joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved dogs, enjoyed playing golf, playing games, and could often be found reading a good book or working on puzzles.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Kimberly Loznak; her sons Ted (Jill) Loznak and James (Sharon) Loznak; and her seven grandchildren: Jesse (Jennifer) Loznak, Joshua (Lyndsey) Cochrun, Alisha Cochrun, Ben (Lindsay) Loznak, Kristina (Scott) Suchecki, Cody (Brenna) Loznak, and Aubree (Chris) Verlinde. She also leaves behind 13 great-grandchildren with another expected in October.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Edward J. Loznak; and her sister, Wanda (Cal) Stevens.

A memorial service honoring Doris will take place at 3:00 p.m., with visitation starting at 2:00 p.m., on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, 305 Sixth St., Traverse City, Michigan 49684.
