Dorothy Geraldine Fullmer

Dorothy Geraldine Fullmer, 94, of Traverse City passed away April 6, 2016 at Munson Hospice House.

Dorothy was born July 15, 1921 to Charles and Grace (VanDyne) LaPearl in Pontiac, MI. She married Raymond E Fullmer at a service in Pontiac, MI.

Dorothy was a homemaker, but during World War II she went to work for General Motors to assist with the war effort. She blessed Raymond with 2 sons and devoted her time to her family. She enjoyed camping and traveling. In her spare time she would make necklaces out of beads.

She is survived by her sons, Charles (Bernadette) Fullmer and Gary Fullmer, 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 9 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, 2 grandsons, 2 sisters and her parents.

A funeral service to honor Dorothy will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 11 a.m. at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Pastor Chris Lane will officiate the service.
