Dorothy E. Good, 98, of Traverse City, passed away Friday, October 02, 2015 at the Grand Traverse Pavilions.
Dorothy was born on September 2, 1917 in Lafayette, Indiana to the late George and Mary [Bahls] Pfrommer. She married the late Don V. Good on March 31, 1936. Together they lovingly raised two wonderful children.
Dorothy moved to the Traverse City area to be closer to her family in 1997. She was an associate member of the First Congregational Church. Previously when she lived in Indiana she was a dedicated member of St. James Lutheran Church in Lafayette. In her spare time Dorothy enjoyed crafts and she was especially talented with the sewing machine.
Surviving Dorothy are her children, Dr. Don A. [Barbara] Good of Traverse City, Patricia [Rev. Stewart] Reimnitz of San Diego, California; grandchildren, Rebecca [Lenny] Bagdon, Julie Reimnitz, Karen [Rex] Rudolph, Timothy [Amy] Good, Kathryn Kroupa, Kristin Good; great-grandchildren, Michael Rudolph, Betsy Rudolph, Jonathon Rudolph, Ashleigh Good, Madelyn Good, Lillian Good, Spencer Kroupa, Kate Kroupa, Allison Chatas, and Matthew Chatas.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, siblings, George Pfrommer, Robert Pfrommer, and Mary Schmidt.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at the First Congregational Church in the Chapel. Burial will take place in the Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora, Indiana.
