TRAVERSE CITY — Clint Kennard, 96, of Traverse City, passed away Dec. 10, 2009, at his winter residence in Deland, Fla. Mr. Kennard had a distinguished career as an aeronautical engineer from M.I.T. working on unmanned space flight projects with NASA, concluding his career as an administrator at Northwestern Michigan College. In retirement, he and his late wife, Martha were very active in the Grand Traverse Pioneer and Historical Society. A service will be held at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at 11 a.m. Please join the family and friends to honor Clint and celebrate his life. The funeral home parking lot will be reserved for guests of the funeral.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Traverse Historical Society.
