Edward "Ed" Arnold, age 69, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2022. He was born August 11, 1952, in Traverse City, to parents Leonard and Esther Arnold.

He is survived by his children Kendra (Glenn) Harvey and Justin Arnold; grandchildren Donovan Moore, Victoria Smith-Harvey, Samantha Michael, Anna Arnold, and Caitlin (Sean) Aufderheide; ex-wife Marilynn Arnold; and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ernie Arnold.

Ed was a lifelong learner and enjoyed the many different experiences life has to offer. He was a strong and consistent force for his family, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Ed was happiest going on drives along Lake Michigan, fishing, deer hunting, getting breakfast at J&S, and being with his family. He could strike up a conversation with anyone and was never hesitant to crack a good dad joke. Ed was a talented mechanic, and had a long career working for the City Garage repairing small engines.
Edward's request was to have a small, private gathering. Next time you go fishing, cast one out for him. Edward would want people to honor his legacy by showing kindness and having an open mind to everything out there.
