OLD MISSION — Edwin Matthew Wright passed away peacefully at his home in Old Mission July 4, 2010, surrounded by his immediate family. He was 96.Edwin Wright was born December 18, 1913, in Detroit. In 1942, he married Norah Bernadine Smith, RN. They had three sons, David, Robert and Thomas.He attended Princeton University and the University of Michigan Medical School. He served in the Army Air Corps in World War II, and then practiced radiology in Saginaw for 36 years.Dr. Wright was an avid reader and Great Lakes sailor. In retirement he was active in the Old Mission Nature Conservancy.Dr. Wright was preceded in death by his wife and his brother, Lewis B.
