Elaine Michele Hoffman, 59, of Traverse City, passed away on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at her home. Elaine Pepsin was born on April 14, 1955, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Michael and Beulah (Davis) Pepsin. She worked very hard as a newspaper delivery person in Traverse City. Elaine was a faithful and popular member of the Church of Philadelphia in Traverse City. Spending time with her family is what gave Elaine her greatest joy.

Elaine is survived by her daughter, Joy Hoffmeyer, two grandchildren; Eric and Eleana Calvert, two brothers; Gary (Susan) Pepsin, Steven Pepsin and a nephew, Andy Pepsin.

Elaine was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Monroe.

A memorial service honoring Elaina will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at Traverse City Christian School, 753 Emerson Rd., Traverse City, MI 49696. Pastor Joe Bradway will officiate.
