Elaine Marie Olin (Sanko), 94, passed away December 25, 2022 in Williamsburg, Michigan. Elaine was born April 15, 1928, in Detroit, MI. She married the love of her life, Richard M. Olin, III, and together, they raised their five sons. They enjoyed traveling and loved spending time together. Richard passed away in May, 2022.
Elaine was a life-long musician and artist with an unmeasurable love for music and the arts. She studied piano at the Detroit Conservatory of Music and gave instruction to well over a hundred students during her many years of teaching piano.
She spent the majority of her career as a Registered Nurse at Munson Medical Center, where she truly loved working with her patients and their families, as well as with her colleagues.
Elaine's love and compassion, her radiant smile and laughter, and her brilliant sense of humor will be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Ron (Julie), Randy (Kris), Russell (Cathy), and Les (Stacey), as well as by numerous Grandchildren, Great Grand Children, Nieces, and Nephews. Elaine was preceded in death by her eldest son, Richard, IV (Marie.)
