Eleanor Eunice Guined, 80 of Lake Ann, passed away October 21, 2012 at Munson Medical Center.
Eleanor was born on September 8, 1932 in Chicago, Il to the late Evertt and Eunice Gerlach.
After graduating from Grosse Pointe High School, Eleanor married Ellow Gordon Guined on August 9, 1952 in Detroit.
Eleanor worked as a secretary for an insurance company, a law firm, and for a publishing company.
In her spare time she enjoyed animals, bird watching, and flowers. She enjoyed singing Christmas songs, and in her younger years was an excellent seamstress. She also taught all of her grandchildren how to walk.
Eleanor is survived by her husband of 60 years, Gordon, daughters Christine (Tim) Wood, Sandra Musgrove, and Pamela Castle, 11 grand children and 8 great grandchildren.
Eleanor was preceded in death by her daughter Deborah.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
