Traverse City-- Elizabeth "Libby" Ann Cannon, 77, of Traverse City, passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2022, at Munson Medical Center, Libby was born April 24, 1945, in Elizabethton, TN, to Raymond and Kathleen Mary (Beaver) Blair.

She married Edward "Bill" William Cannon, who preceded her in death, Dec. 27, 1963, in Trenton, on a snowy night in front of a beautiful fireplace, and along the way they lovingly raised three wonderful children.

Libby retired from Munson Medical Center, after 33 years, in 2015. She enjoyed many things in life, smiles and laughter and she never complained. She enjoyed bowling, was on many teams and was an avid in her bowling, also, water acrobatics, belly dancing, pottery and ceramics, cake decorating, playing cards with neighbors and friends, traveling with family and so much more, she lived a full life of joy and happiness.

Surviving Libby are her children, Kathleen (Brent) Cannon-Scott, of Lake, William (Mary) Cannon Jr. of Traverse City, and Thomas Cannon, of Traverse City; Grandchildren, Jakob (Katie) Dunham, Blake (Theresa), Andrew, and Patrick, who preceded her in death; Great-Grandchildren, Alizabe p.m.th Marie, Atara Rayne, Kairi Ann, a Step-Mother, Kathleen "Nancy" Ann Blair (Rick), a sister Linda Broske, a brother Samuel Raymond Blair, and many more family members and friends.

Please come celebrate her life with family. Visitation will be held for Libby on Tuesday Nov. 8, 2022 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday Nov. 9, 2022 also at the funeral home, followed by a graveside dedication. Burial will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Traverse City, followed by a celebration luncheon with family at the VFW Post 2780 on Veterans Drive. Pastor Doyle Berg Jr. will officiate.
