TRAVERSE CITY — Elizabeth Turner Williamson, 88, of Traverse City, died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City.Elizabeth was born Wednesday, July 26, 1922, to the late George and Jean (Robertson) Williamson in Saskatchewan, Canada.Employed in administration for the State of California, Elizabeth moved back to Michigan following her retirement. She loved old movies and movie magazines, and was very knowledgeable in movie history.Elizabeth is survived by her nephews, Randy (Linda) Williamson and Ron Williamson, and her sister-in-law, Bette Williamson, all of Traverse City; and her cousins, Alexander and James McLuckie.Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Williamson, and her sister, Jean Duty.Visitation will take place Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 2 until 4 p.m. at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, with a committal blessing at 4 p.m. led by Chaplain Ron White of Hospice of Michigan.
