Elva Krueger, age 86, of Traverse City, died on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at her home under the loving care of her sisters.

Elva was born on June 7, 1938 in Petoskey, Michigan. She was born again of the water and the spirit of Holy Baptism on July 3, 1938. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was a gifted artist.

Elva was preceded in death by her parents: Albert & Margaret (Golke) Krueger, sisters: Madaline Greene, Judith Soos; infant brothers: Paul Krueger, Phillip Krueger; and nephew, Andrew Perrault.

She is survived by her siblings: Esther (Al) Perrault, Caroline Krueger, Timothy (Beverly) Krueger, Paulette (George) Strasburg, Susan (Mark) Reece, Jeanette (Richard) Johnson; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A time of visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1003 S. Maple St., Traverse City. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m., also at the church.

Burial will take place at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or Hospice of Michigan.
