Obituary

Elwood "Woodie" George Dickinson, 87, of Lake Ann, formerly Jackson, passed away November 30, 2020. He was born in Jackson, May 10, 1933, son to Alva and Margaret (Speers) Dickinson.

Woodie worked and raised his family in Jackson alongside his wife Sue Ann (Addison). He retired from Aeroquip Corp. in 1993. He was an active member of the Jackson Sno Roamers. The couple moved to Lake Ann full-time to enjoy retirement. Woodie was also a member of the Lake Ann Lions Club.

He leaves behind his loving wife, Sue Ann Dickinson (Addison); children Roger (Penny), Rodney (Debbie), Cheryl Eibert, and Julie (Marti) Borener; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sisters Cinda Eltzroth, Anne Miracle and Janette Hempstone; and several nieces and nieces and nephews.

Woodie was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Leland and Mick.
The family offers a special thanks to Munson Healthcare for the past 4 years, especially to Cheryl, Tammy, Maggie and Steve for their incredible caregiving. Also, thanks to Munson Hospice for their special care these last several months. Lastly, thank you to Michele and Art Manke for all of your extra help.
