Emily Annette Bucks

Emily Annette Bucks, 94, of Traverse City passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Munson Hospice House. Emily was born on January 26, 1921 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thomas G. and Anna (Curin) Kroupa. She was employed by Kroger Grocery Stores, retiring after many years of service. In her early years, Emily enjoyed dancing, traveling and was very gifted at knitting and creating ceramics. She was an avid reader and loved to watch "her" soap operas and PGA golf, tournaments the highlight of her weekend entertainment. She was a dog lover and cherished their companionship.
Emily was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Jordan, two brothers; Thomas A. Kroupa and Joseph S. Kroupa, four sisters; Georgette Riley, Florence Glazier, Anna Marie Warren and Lillian Duca.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Emily's wishes, a private service has taken place.
In her memory, contributions may be directed to Munson Hospice House.
