Eric Robert Gretel, 63, of Manistee, MI passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, in Traverse City, MI while in the loving care of his sister, Janis Haine, and his brother-in-law, John Haine, along with loving thoughts and prayers from family and friends afar.
Eric was born on November 18, 1959, in Highland, Park MI to the late Robert and Audrey (Muskett) Gretel. He honorably served his Country in the United States Airforce for four years. After his service, Eric began his professional career as a technical illustrator, graphic designer and writer. Eric's career enabled him to live in many different states in our great Country.

He did graphic illustration for the Old Mission Women's Club (OMWC), created corporate business cards and loved creating cartoon characters for various projects. Fondly Eric will be remembered for his willingness to lend a helping hand to friends and family, no matter the project. His gentle soul and warm smile will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.
