Esther Marie (Burnett) Armbruster Perry, 87, of Mesick, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 5, 2025, surrounded by the love and care of her family.

Esther was born on December 19, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Hazen John and Dolly Juliette (Wilton) Burnett. She graduated from Cooley High School in 1956. Shortly after, in 1956, she married Louis J. Armbruster, and together they raised five children: Brian, Cary, Mark, Brenda, and Heather.

In 2001, Esther married Theodore "Ted" Perry, and they shared many happy years until his passing in 2023. They enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and making countless memories together.

Esther had a zest for life and a deep love for her family. She delighted in watching her grandchildren—and more recently, her great-grandchildren—grow up. She enjoyed antique shopping with friends, browsing for little treasures, and her animals. Esther also had a lifelong love of going to the show and movies. She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Brian (Daralyn) Armbruster, Cary (Denise) Armbruster, Mark (Shelly) Armbruster, Brenda Armbruster and Heather Armbruster, grandchildren, Nicholas (Jessica) Armbruster, Nathan (Brittany) Armbruster, John Hunter, Dustin (Meaghan) Torres, Domenic (Christine) Torres, Raquel (Zachery) Vega, great-grandchildren, Joshua, Olivia, Mia, also two little great-grandchildren on the way, as well as loving extended family, and friends.

Esther is preceded in death by her beloved Ted.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Noon at St. Mary's of Hannah Catholic Church, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Esther will be laid to rest at St. Mary of Hannah Catholic Cemetery following the Mass. A luncheon will follow the services, and all are welcome.
