One of "God's little children", a beloved and loving Mother, Grandma, and Great Grammie died to this life - inheld by and with faith in her Savior, Jesus Christ, to the glory of God the Father.

Born June 27, 1920 in Muskegon to Mortimer and Hattie Jones, , Eva, along with her little sister Elsie, due to circumstances unknown, became residents of the Muskegon Children's Home. At about eight years of age, she was selected from that place by Rolla and Carrie Waldo of Fremont, where she attended school through graduation. She became by adoption Reva Mae Waldo.

Reva had her three children in Michigan. Her oldest daughter, Mary Jean (nee Brandt) (Norm) Zigterman preceded her in death December 26, 2017, leaving Paula K. (Doug) Shaw and James D. Somers along with a niece Amy Malin, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and many cousins, including Walter Knoch.

Reva's long life, blessed with faith and a resilient spirit, meant she would see the passing of many loved ones and friends, yet cherishing all those that were there to the end. Always concerned that she present herself in the best light, and that those she loved would be assured her last words, if able to speak, would likely have been "I love you and don't forget to say your prayers" or just maybe, "where's my lipstick."

Reva's children thank her Redeemer family for the help, prayers and support and for these last many months, the attending staff of Munson Hospice.

Visitation for Reva will begin at 10:30 AM Wednesday, December 27 at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, 402 W. Ninth St., Traverse City, with the service celebrating Reva's life beginning at 11:30 AM. Pastors Scott Korljan and Doug Shaw will officiate. Burial will take place at Peninsula Township Cemetery.

Please, please.... no flowers or memorials. Rather give of yourself as she did in love and kindness to others.
