Evelyn Easter

Evelyn Mae Easter, 87, of Traverse City, passed away May 5, 2021, joining her beloved husband Dick and her kind hearted son Michael.
Evelyn was born on September 7, 1933 to the late Alwin "Richard" and Josephine (McPeters) Moreland.
Evelyn, noted as the most amazing woman you would meet, fell in love with and married Dick on July 31, 1951 and was happily wed for 58 years. Together they had four children and raised them with strong work ethics, morals, and values.
For Evelyn, family was number one on her priority list. She adored her 8 grandchildren and enjoyed the quality time and doted over her 15 great grandkids.
In her free time when not showering her entire family with love, she enjoyed camping, bowling, casinos with her friends. She also loved going out to eat and shopping with loved ones.
Per the request of Evelyn, there will be no formal services. Instead, the family asks that you take a moment to call loved ones and tell them how important they are to you.
Evelyn leaves behind her children; Guy (Sue), Laura (Russ) and David (Kathy), her 8 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, siblings; Craig, Peggy (Norm) and Laurie (Rich).
Evelyn and her family are being cared for by the Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
