Evelyn Maxine (Biggs) Friend joined her Lord and beloved husband William Ernst Friend on November 24, 2022, in Traverse City, Michigan. She was born on May 11, 1932, to the late Ray and Mary (Cook) Biggs in Lane, Tennessee. Evelyn was graduated from Ypsilanti High School and Cleary College. On April 17, 1954, she married William E. Friend who preceded her in death. Evelyn worked as a legal secretary and later as a bookkeeper until her retirement. She was an accomplished seamstress, making countless quilts, while also enjoying crochet, knitting and plastic canvas creations. She is survived by her daughter, Julia K. (Friend) Grimes; granddaughter, Dana M.
