It is with profound sadness we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved Everest October Ember Jenkins on August 14, 2026.

Everest will be dearly missed by his parents, Joel Jenkins and Destiny McLain, and his brother, Oliver Jenkins. Everest was a bright, sweet, and cheerful boy. He was very food motivated, especially when it came to french fries!

The service will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Living Hope Church in Traverse City, Michigan.

11:00 AM to 12:00 PM: This time will be for FAMILY and FRIENDS who were very close and dear to us to gather and say their goodbyes to Everest.

12:00 PM: The SERVICE will be open to the COMMUNITY. Everyone is welcome to join us to honor Everest, say their final goodbyes, and support our family.

1:00 PM: Following the service, we will have a LUNCHEON for our CLOSE family, friends, and support system to come together and honor Everest. We are asking our family and friends who plan on attending the lunch to please bring a DISH TO PASS, if you are able.

In honor of Everest, our family asks that those attending wear navy or baby blue if they are able. Everest, you will be missed and never be forgotten. Your Mommy, Daddy, and big brother will love you forever!
