Felicia Rebecca Dornoff, age 33 went to her heavenly home on Saturday March 8th after a prolonged battle, with many organ systems, complicated by lung failure at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

She was born August 16,1991 in Haiti and was part of the 'boat lift' in the mid 1990's. She is survived by parents Michael and Rebecca, siblings Jay, Dawn, Amanda, Derrick, Linda, Brett, Ray, Patrick, Ben, Danielle, JinSo, Molly, Destiny, Joey, and Christopher. She was predeceased by her siblings Shantell, Dominic, Mikey, Joshua, Taylor-Ann, and Katey. Felicia had many caring staff for her many years at school topped off by Dave and his crew at AWC, many new staff and friends at GTI, including Susy and crew, and special thanks to long time home helpers Lorna, John, Dani, Carol, and sissy Kim.

Felicia came from a world of extreme poverty with no special services in Haiti to Florida to be processed to the Dornoff family in June 1995. She had a severe mental handicap with many physical issues including blindness, seizure disorder and limited mobility. She was a skinny little 4-year-old severely challenged child and weighing around 14.lbs. Immediately momma was working on feeding and daddy would hold her for hours. Her life would never be the same as she settled into a loving and abundant life for the first time, continuing for nearly 30 years. On the behalf of Felicia with all our heart we thank her adoptive family especially grandma Olson, Uncle Jon and family, school friends and caring staff for over 20 years, workshop (GTI) friends and staff for the last 5+ years, so many medical providers with special thanks to Sara Smith.

Felicia went from a life of poverty to a place of abundant food, services, and love. Heartfelt THANK YOU to all of the many people who made it possible for Felicia to have the best life possible with her many challenges. She is now in heaven screaming her praises with a smile.
