Florence E. "Lynne" Campenhout, 86, of Traverse City, died Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Culver Meadows AFC in Traverse City.
She was born September 9, 1931, in Detroit, to Florian and Mary Markovich. She married Albert E. Campenhout on January 2, 1960 in Detroit. He preceded her in death in 2006.
She had been a member of the Friendly Garden Club, and had enjoyed many years volunteering at the Peninsula Community Library. She had also enjoyed working at Chateau Chantal winery.
She is survived by two daughters, Claire (Greg) Garten of Brimley, MI, and Mary "Mimi" (Bill) Perez of Lewiston, ID; six grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Markovich of Las Vegas, NV. In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Harry Marx.
No services are planned. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heartland Hospice.
