Florence Marjorie Filip, 91 of Traverse City and Jackson, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Tendercare Birchwood in Traverse City with her son Tom and his wife Mary at her side.
Florence was born on April 7, 1921 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Albert and May (Boyle) Reardon. She married Hypolit K. Filip on September 28, 1942.
She was a member of the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church and she was a registered nurse.
Florence is preceded in death by her husband Hypolit K. Filip and her daughter Patricia and her son Victor. Inurnment will take place at St. John Cemetery in Jackson. All donations may be directed to the Queen of the Miraculous Medal Church, Jackson Area Catholic Schools or Traverse City Area Catholic Schools. The family is being served by the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home, Traverse City.
