Florence Joann Hanba

Florence Joann Hanba, 96, of Lake Ann, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2024 at home with her loving daughter at her side.

Florence was born on August 2, 1927 in Sloan, NY to the late Lawrence and Stella (Muzalewski) Lesinski. She married the late Walter Hanba on May 3, 1947. Together they lovingly raised two wonderful children Gerald and Patricia.

Florence was a devout Catholic and embraced her faith. She was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Gerald (Joyce) Hanba and Pat Barone, along with many nieces and nephews, and lots of friends.

Florence is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Walter, her sisters Sophie, Mary, Regina, and Clara and her son-in-law Joseph Barone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis Catholic Church on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 2pm with a visitation beginning at 1pm. A luncheon will be served following the Mass. Rite of Committal will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at 1pm. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of Michigan, Donation Processing Center, 10850 E.
