TRAVERSE CITY — Florence A. Kuhn, 98, of Traverse City died Monday, June 21, 2010, at Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City.Florence was born on Wednesday, June 28, 1911, to the late Walter and Nellie (Batchelor) Bisard in Newago County.Moving to Kingsley from Grant in 1953, Florence has been a resident of Traverse City since 1963. She had been a nurse at Munson Medical Center prior to her retirement in 1976. Florence is survived by her daughter, Charlene K. (Leonard) Galla, of Traverse City; her grandchildren, Dean (Jennifer) Galla of Traverse City, Leonard Galla of Traverse City, Tara (Scott) Hakes of Dallas, Texas, Douglas (Danielle) Galla of Allendale; and 10 great-grandchildren.Florence was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Hale and Georgeanne Moore; and her brothers, Wayne, Howard, Allie and Walter Bisard.Services for Florence will be announced later.
