She enjoyed life and embraced every opportunity to celebrate it. Mike enjoyed entertaining, hosting parties, playing tennis, spending summers on the boat with friends on Long Lake, and cooking holiday meals for the extended family. She and Carl were members of the Elks Club, and treasured the many longtime friendships created there and with neighbors in the Long Lake area. Mike and Carl also spent more than 30 winters enjoying the sunshine and companions they found in Cancun, Mexico.
Mike was proceeded in death by her beloved husband, Carl A. Johnson, her sons, Jack Stanley Smith and Ricky Dale Smith, and her brother, Frederick B. Harrison.
She is survived by her son, Kerry E. Smith (Leslie Lake), her Grandchildren, Jason Smith (Kasie) and Kendra (Bill) Balderach, her stepchildren, Laura Quick and Mark Johnson as well as her extended family and dear friends who will miss her greatly.
