Francis"Duane" Groesser

Francis "Duane" Groesser, 41, a lifelong resident of Traverse City, MI, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 19, 2012.

Duane was born on August 12, 1970 to Francis "Wayne" and Sally (Rasho) Groesser in Traverse City, MI.

He attended and graduated from Suttons Bay High School. Duane enjoyed the outdoors spending time hunting, fishing and golfing. Duane also enjoyed bowling even achieving the illusive score of 300. Duane made his living as a skilled drywaller and painter. He will be deeply missed.

Duane is survived by his loving family, his son, Nathan Groesser, his mother, Sally Groesser, his siblings, Dya (Aaron) Fisher, Scott Groesser, Dawn Agbisit, half siblings out East, Gary (Doreen) Groesser, Jeff (Erin) Groesser, Judy Deschenes, John (Betsy) Groesser, Kevin (Lori) Groesser, Debbie (John) Lincoln, several nieces and nephews, many aunts and uncles as well as many other loving family members and friends.

Duane was preceded in death by his father, Wayne.

Visitation for friends and family will be held from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.

Funeral services will take place at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 25, 2012 at the Bayview Wesleyan Church with a visitation held one hour prior.
