Frederick Charles Fuller

Frederick "Fred" Charles Fuller, 82, a life long resident of Traverse City, stepped into the presence of his Lord on Friday, April 21, 2017 at Grand Traverse Pavilions in Traverse City.

Fred was born on Sunday, August 26, 1934 to the late Charles and Dorothy (Borrick) Fuller in Traverse City. He graduated from Traverse City Central High School and then continued his education at Michigan State University where he earned his bachelors degree. He served our country as a member of the U. S. Army from 1957 until 1959. On July 30, 1960, he married the former E. Carole McManemy in Traverse City.

Fred was a CPA having been associated with Oliver, Pope and Fuller and later with Fuller, Somero and Phassen, prior to his retirement. He was a member of Bible Baptist Church, a former member of the Kiwanis Club of Traverse City and had served on the board of directors at Youth for Christ. Fred really enjoyed playing golf as much as he could. His greatest love however was for his wife, daughters and grandchildren.

Surviving Fred is his wife Carole, his daughters and grandchildren, Laura and her husband Michael Brennan and their children, Jordan, Lauren and Jeremy, all of Traverse City; Lynda Fuller of West Chicago, IL; Brenda Fuller and her children Nicholas and Levi Maison, all of Traverse City; a sister Suzanne (Charles) Wylie of Lenoir City, TN; nephews and niece, Scott, Bradley and Jeffery Wylie, Greg McManemy and Michelle Brett as well as a brother in law, Victor McManemy of Traverse City. Fred was preceded in death by his parents.

Carole and her family would like to express their thanks to the team on Elm Pavilion for the loving care they provided Fred and to them while he made his home at the Pavilions. You were all a blessing from God.

Visitation for Fred will take place from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, May 6 at The Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 7 at Bible Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Joel Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
