Frederick Gerald Kreh

Frederick G. Kreh (Jerry), 86, of Traverse City, died on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022, at Heart's Content in Breckenridge, MI. He was born on Jan. 30, 1936, in Pigeon, MI, a son of the late Bernard and Leona (Heron) Kreh.

He was the husband of Annette L. Kreh (LaLonde), with whom he shared 64 years of marriage on May 31, 2022.

In his career, Frederick was a tool and die maker. He was a long-time member of The Journey Church in Traverse City, MI where he served in many capacities but especially worked with the sound equipment.
In his younger years, he enjoyed playing basketball and singing in a quartet. As he grew older, he enjoyed watching his grandchildren and great grandchildren play sports, as well as enjoying hunting and making hunting videos for the Bud & Jerry Show.

Surviving, along with his wife Annette, are two sons, Kevin Kreh of Lake City, MI and Scott Kreh (Diane) of Kewanna, IN; two daughters, Tammy Frye and Vickie Lange-Eaton (Jim) of Traverse City, MI; 3 brothers, Bernard (Iola) Kreh, Edward (JoAnn) Kreh, and Thomas (Brenda) Kreh, 11 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Christine Kreh, a sister, Janet Black (Charles-still living), and a great-granddaughter, Olivia Lynn Kreh.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, at the TC Journey Church, 2825 W. South Airport Rd, Traverse City, MI with his brother, Edward Kreh officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the church and the service will be at 2:00 p.m., with a meal to follow.
