Gary Beyersdorf, 66, of Traverse City (formerly Saginaw) passed away November 12, 2019. Gary was born November 1, 1953 to parents Gerald and Lillian (Knoll) Beyersdorf.
Gary was proud of his honorable service to the US Navy. For nearly all of his life Gary's profession was centered around getting people where they needed to go; he was a school bus driver, over the road truck driver, among other positions.
Gary will be missed dearly for his unmistakable brand of humor and his deep-seeded passion for Star Wars. His first date with his wife Bunny was to see the first of the original trilogy, "A New Hope." He loved his family deeply and was proud of every single one of them. May the force be with you Gary!
Gary is survived by his beloved wife Bunny (Raymond); children Gary Lee Beyersdorf, Skye (Ryan) Vedrode, and Adam (Elisia) J. Beyersdorf; grandchildren Calvin Walsh, Luke & Liam Vedrode, and Aubrey & Evan Beyersdorf; godchildren Ginger Fowler, Jeremy Dennings and Jay Bethke; special friend Lynn Homan; and other extended family members and friends.
Gary was predeceased by his parents; siblings Virginia (Frank) Samuel, Judith (Michael) Birch and Jean (Lester) Dennings; and special friend Linda Homan.
A memorial service honoring Gary will take place 1PM, November 22, 2019 at Christ Lutheran Church: 8795 Ederer Road, Saginaw, MI 48609. Visitation will begin at 11AM and will continue until the time of service at church.
