Geoffrey S. Morris

Geoffrey S. Morris, 75, peacefully passed away on Sunday, August 19 surrounded by his brothers and sister at his home in Frankfort, Michigan. Geoff was born in 1943 in Evanston, Illinois to Robert and Isabell Morris and grew up in Hinsdale, Illinois.
Geoff attended Proctor Academy in New Hampshire. He was graduated from Albion College and received a Master's degree in design from Syracuse University. He spent most of his career in New York City as a commercial interior designer with various architectural and design firms. He finished his career as an interior designer for Bank of New York.
Geoff served two terms on the board of Trustees of Proctor Academy. He served on the New York board of the American Society of Interior Design and was a volunteer at the Whitney Museum. He was a member of the Crystal Lake Yacht Club and the Crystal Downs Country Club in Frankfort, Michigan.
He is survived by brothers; Kimball Morris (Louise) and Rick Morris (Elizabeth), sister, Courtney Morris and eight nieces and nephews, eighteen grandnieces and grandnephews, beloved cousins and friends. Private services will be held in Hinsdale, Illinois and a celebration of life in Frankfort, Michigan next summer.
