TRAVERSE CITY — George A. Mantell, 55, of Traverse City, passed away at Munson Hospice House.George was born June 8, 1956, to George Sr. and Madieline Mantell, in Vicksburg.George is survived by dear friend, Jim Vanderley, of Traverse City, and many other friends.George was preceded in death by his parents, George and Madieline Mantell.A memorial service for George will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, at Central United Methodist Church, with Pastor Homer Nye officiating. Burial is to take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska at a later date.The family is being served by Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home.
