Georgia M. Bell, 75, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 1, 2012.
She was born in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan on September 28, 1937 to the late George and Maysie Lougheed.
She helped operate Bell Plumbing and Heating with her husband Richard. She married Richard T. Bell on April 27, 1957, who went to be with the Lord on March 27, 1997.
She is survived by her four children, Rodney (Karen) Bell of Traverse City, Steven (Bonnie) Bell of Frankenmuth, Shelley (Ed) Johnson of Traverse City, and David (Cindy) Bell of Alpena.
She was a very devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother, and friend. Her eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren were Leah (Loren), Rachel (Ryan), Ricky, Austin (Andrea), Morgan, Spencer, Carson, Kristian, Joshua, Alec, Ann, Maggie, and Ella which were all her pride and joy. Also she is survived by two brothers, Jack (Edith) Lougheed of Grand Rapids, and Roger (Nancy) Lougheed of Traverse City. In addition she is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, her two sisters, Dorothy Hopkins and Edith Wurm.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 3, 2012 at East Bay Calvary Church, 2225 Hammond Road East, Traverse City, MI 49686. Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday also at the Church. The Dr. Kendale Dennis will officiate.
A private family burial will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the East Bay Calvary Church's Project New Guest Information Center and Jubilee House.
