Gerald Clarence Fielstra, 94, of Traverse City, Michigan, went to his eternal home in Heaven on
August 7, 2025. He was born November 25, 1930 in Ellsworth, Michigan, and married the love of his
life, Betty Jean Hosler, on January 12, 1951. His legacy of faith and love leaves his loved ones with
wonderful memories and a strong foundation of faith in a loving Savior.

Gerald is survived by his children Sheila (Randall) Atwood, David (Anne) Fielstra, Sally (Keith)
Dykhuis, and Nancy (Ernest) Lemoi; 12 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 6 great great
grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Betty, parents Herman and Katherine Fielstra, and 4
siblings.

Visitation and funeral will take place Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
respectively at Faith Reformed Church in Traverse City, Michigan.
