Gerald Earl Danhauser

Gerald Earl Danhauser, 82 of Traverse City,, passed away Saturday, June 21, 2014 at Munson Medical Center.

Gerry was born on April 8, 1932 in Detroit, MI to the late Earl H. and Irene E. (Beck) Danhauser. He married Norma Kennedy on October 2, 1954 in Lake Orion, MI.

Gerry was a hard worker and retired after many years from Cherry Growers driving truck. Church was always very important to Gerry and he was always highly dedicated to church ministries. He loved traveling and especially camping out West. Gerry will fondly be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend.

Surviving Gerry is his wife Norma of 59 years, son Jeffery (Carol) Danhauser, grandsons Paul (Lindsey) Danhauser, Derek (Sara) Danhauser, Jason Tinklenberg, great granddaughter Lainey, and many other loving family members and friends.

Gerry is preceded in death by his parents and brothers Robert, Keith and Herbert.

A memorial service will be held at 11am on Friday, June 27, 2014 at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home with a visitation beginning at 10am. Pastor Caleb Palmer will officiate.
