Mr. Harry Achille Reed of Traverse City, Michigan, passed away on the evening of Tuesday, November 30, 2021, and rests now in the arms of his Lord and Savior.

Harry was born in Battle Creek to Francis and Marion (Freytag) on Friday, November 15, 1940. He also lived in Birmingham, MI, Madison, WI, Columbus, OH, and Lewiston, MI before moving to Traverse City.

Harry worked for Grand Traverse Industries and was very proud of that career. He was awarded, "Summa Cum Laude" for his medical vial transfer of liquid with emphasis on speed, and precision. One of Harry's favorite things, was to go out to a restaurant, enjoy a great meal, and most of all, greet all of his friends, thus establishing his reputation as "Mr. PR". His smile was worth a million dollars.

Harry leaves behind his brothers Richard and Brenda Reed of Cookeville, TN, and Thomas and Nancy Reed, Sr. of Traverse City, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Alfred Pillarelli at 11:00 a,m. on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. There will be a time of visitation one hour prior to Mass. Immediately following, Harry will be laid to rest in St. Francis Cemetery.
