Helen Ella Roster

Traverse City - Helen E. Roster, 95, of Traverse City passed away November 29, 2016 at Munson Medical Center.

Helen was born on December 25, 1920 in Flint to the late Jacob and Katherine (Gebhardt) Gideon.

In her spare time Helen enjoyed knitting, cooking and baking. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Helen was very caring and above all else cherished her family. She will be greatly missed.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband John N. Roster II and brother Robert Gideo

Helen is survived by her children Jacqueline Bonomo of Grand Rapids, Gerald (Kathy) Roster of Traverse City, Mark (Kathy) Roster of Alpena, and John N. (Debbie) Roster III of Traverse City; 15 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and sister Betty Dutil.

The funeral service will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 2:30 pm with visitation beginning at 2:00 pm at Reynolds Jonkhoff Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
