TRAVERSE CITY — Helen Elizabeth Sabo, 85, of Traverse City, passed away peacefully at Grand Traverse Pavilions on April 17, 2012, surrounded by family. Helen was born April 28, 1926, in Detroit, the daughter of Elof and Selma Edlund.She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing cards, Bingo and spending time with her family.Helen is survived by her son, William Yunck, of Dearborn Heights, and his fiancée, Heather McLeish; daughter, Cindy (Gary) Holappa, of Traverse City; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Katy Anthes) Holappa, Lisa Holappa, Kristin (Jeremy) Klingelsmith and Austin Yunck; and a great-granddaughter, Katelynn Klingelsmith.She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.Memorial services will be held at the Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home on Friday, April 20, 2012, at 9:30 a.m., with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m. Mr. Tim Moeggenberg will officiate.
