Helen Margaret Tomaszewski

Helen Margaret Tomaszewski, 86, of Traverse City, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at Munson Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.

Helen was born on June 1, 1929 in Detroit MI, to the late Adam and Helen (Dunajski) Poniatowski. She married the late Edward Tomaszewski in 1950. He predeceased her in 2003.

Helen lived most of her life in the Detroit area. She worked as a billing clerk for U.S. Truck Co. Also, she was a member of the Church of the Devine Savoir in Westland for many years. In her spare time Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Surviving Helen are her children, Helen S. (Richard) Fox, Edward A. Tomaszewski and granddaughter Kristen Fox.

Helen is preceded in death by her parents, siblings, Adam, Delores, and Arthur.
