Henry Ora Ruhl

Traverse City - Henry Ora Ruhl, 83, of Traverse City died Friday, April 22, 2015 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.

Henry was born on Saturday, July 18, 1931 to the late Nichols and Anna (Harris) Ruhl in Maple Grove Township.

Henry entered into marriage with the former Beatrice Vera Smith on August 9, 1952.

Henry was employed as a farmer and factory worker. He resided in Maple Grove Township until his retirement.

Henry is survived by his wife, Beatrice V Ruhl of Traverse City; children, Philip (Carol) Ruhl of Walkersville, MD; daughter, Diana Buchler of Traverse City; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Eugene (Peggy) Ruhl; sister, Marie (her husband, Sherman) Ruhl.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Nichols and Anna Ruhl; sister, Rosella Keys, brothers, Robert Ruhl, William Ruhl, Vern Ruhl; son, Michael (Elizabeth) Ruhl; son,, Duane Ruhl; granddaughter, Sarah Lynn Ruhl.

Memorial church service will be May 1, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 630 W. Silver Lake Road, Traverse City, MI 49685, 231-943-4633. Lunch will be following service.
